Today, there is a true need for cooperation to achieve global solidarity. There are multiple possible forms of cooperation in combating COVID-19. Countries should be able to allow essential medical supplies to be available to countries that are in need. Such a restraint poses issues to prolong this pandemic. Actions such as blocking the export of medical equipment, as Germany and France did, should be discouraged.
